| Wow, the lodges are luxury with a capital L.U.X.U.R.Y we stayed in the wellington. The lodge is beautiful inside & out, well equipped & comfortable. The little touches of tea, coffee, pint of milk on arrival is very welcoming. The hot tub is amazing, and can comfortable seat 6 adults. The park is peaceful & tranquil, we also visited the pub on site, superb food, recommend the Sunday roast & chocolate brownie is to die for! There is onsite pond for fishing & golf course if that's your thing priced at reasonable price. The park is also in easy reach (short drive away) to great walking locations and more built up areas such as Keswick & Cockermouth. The owners Harry & Hazel, along with all the staff, are friendly & welcoming. We will definitely be back and highly recommend north lake lodges. | ||
