Hilary - (Bewdley, Herefordshire) - The market town of Bewdley sits on the banks of the River Severn, and is close to the medieval Wyre Forest, with its many walks and cycle trails. Bewdley offers much to delight visitors, with a good choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants along the riverside, many tiny shops, antique and craft galleries, and all surrounded by beautiful countryside with gentle rolling hills, steep wooded valleys and meandering rivers offering many opportunities to discover a rich diversity of wildlife. The area has some of the best attractions in the country, with the Severn Valley Steam Railway, West Midlands Safari Park, numerous National Trust properties and many colourful events throughout the year, including riverside festivals and regattas, open air concerts and family activities.

No 26 Tattershall Country Park - (Horncastle, Lincolnshire) - Nestling between the Fens and the Wolds in the heart of Lincolnshire, is Tattershall Lakes Country Park. Tattershall Park consists of 325 acres offering woodlands, lakes and open spaces along with sporting opportunities. There is a 60 acre water skiing and wakeboarding lake, a 45 acre jet skiing lake, a 9 hole golf course, four lakes covering all aspects of coarse fishing, two bars, one with lake views, a restaurant, children's play area and on site supermarket. Lincoln is within easy travelling distance, with its cathedral, castle and shopping or spend a day exploring the coast, visiting nature reserves at Donna Nook and Gibraltar Point.

Marlie Farm Holiday Park - (New Romney, Kent) - Actually its more of a driver plus 3-wood as Littlestone Golf Club is situated between Marlie Farm and the nearest beach. At Park holidays UK, we often ask team members what their favourite parks are and Marlie Farm always seems to be in the top 3! Thats high praise indeed with 24 other parks to choose from. The superb entertainment venue room has a separate bar and restaurant so you can dance or dine in perfect surroundings whatever you choose. The small indoor pool is nice for a dip after a day out and theres a safe adventure play area for the younger holiday guests. Marlie Farm is a great place for nature lovers. Dimmingsdale - (Ashbourne, Derbyshire) - Set just 15 minute’s walk from the pedestrian entrance to Alton Towers theme park, the lovely little hamlet of Ramshorn is situated in beautiful green woodland. With rides aimed at everyone, Alton Towers is a great place to visit throughout the whole year and the park doesn’t just cater for thrill seekers. The on site golf course, the waterpark at Cariba Creek and the Alton Towers Spa - with ‘Pamper Day’ packages available – are all well worth visiting. When you’ve finished exploring what Britain’s most popular amusement park has to offer, why not have a look at some of the more sedate activities around the region Attractions like Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Dovedale, and various cycle trails are close by whilst the region also boasts horse riding, rock-climbing and pot holing.

Beech Lodge - (Ripon, North Yorkshire) - Situated in the lower reaches of the pretty Wensleydale region alongside the River Ure is the historic little market town of Masham. Boasting a huge market square - where a Wednesday market has recently been joined by a popular Saturday market – this charming settlement is set within gently rolling farmland. The town itself provides a good range of crafts, galleries, shops, restaurants and pubs and has become best known as the home to the Black Sheep Brewery – a company which makes over eleven million pints of beer every year. Through the idyllic surrounding scenery, visitors can enjoy a variety of walks along the Ure or across the hills and visit the popular towns of Ripon and Harrogate – both of which are just a short drive away.

Lower Lumb Lodge - (Hebden Bridge, North Yorkshire) - Cragg Vale is a picturesque Pennine hamlet located on the longest incline in England on the steep and twisting Cragg Road. Cyclists relish the challenge of riding this difficult route up to beautiful heather filled moorland, 1000 feet above sea level. The village of Luddenden and the wonderful oak woodlands of Jerusalem Farm lie on the other side of the valley, and the town of Hebden Bridge with its bars, restaurants, bistros, markets, art galleries and cinema is also close by. The Parsonage Museum, that pays tribute to the Bronte sisters, The Worth Valley Railway Station, and Skipton (aka the “Gateway to the Dales) are all a scenic drive away. This is a great location for discovering all that the Yorkshire Dales have to offer.
